Nicola put a lot of thought into the style references I had, and I love every outfit! There was a good range from safe/comfortable to a bit more daring and out of the box. I was very thankful for the written descriptions, they were helpful in coaching me to think about how to put things together, how to work with the recommendations and further develop my style. I especially love the "dark Winona" outfit, as it ventures a little bit outside of the references I provided and gives me even more inspiration! The recommended items were things that I would have never thought of on my own and that help to really nail the vibe I was going for. I had struggled with how to mix different pieces to create tension and interest, and Nicola really helped me with that. I think for the future I'd like to see if I can create looks with the more practical/comfortable items in my wardrobe, but for this first lookbook it completely nailed what I had asked for and is a great starting point for me.

I've been working with Nicola for three months now. She's pulled together some AMAZING outfits for me. I have learned so much about what is possible to put together and I've gotten so much better at designing my own outfits. I have definite problems with how I perceive myself. Nicola's messages never buy into that. Her tone is one of acceptance and meeting me where I am. Together we move forward in the direction I want to go. I've never felt better in my own skin.

Nicola always had fabulous ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. She listened to my requests and went above and beyond in answering them. Highly recommend!

So many people have told me that you have to have a stylist you meet in person for them to know you. Nicola just proves that’s totally untrue, from a few messages and looking at my wardrobe she understands who I am , how I like to dress and what I’m trying to achieve and gives me great choices to help me get there, some that are within my comfort zone and some that challenge me. I’ve already signed up to the feed, I’m so happy.

Working with Nicola was fantastic! She really hit the nail on the head with my style and what I needed to take it in the right direction. Every week wasn’t just filled with great outfits but also such great insights and directions. I particularly loved that she was willing to push me out of my comfort zone and that it was a really great balance between using pieces I already owned and recommending where there was a gap. I really felt like learnt a lot! Would highly recommend!

I feel understood! The experience was more emotional than I was expecting, in a good way. Nicola really distilled my style as classic and playful and made so many suggestions helping me just take things up a notch and make outfits feel more finished and fun. Wow Nicola. I can’t believe it. This . Is . AMAZING!!! The level of detail, the information you gave me for each look, the options. All of them felt like me. I wanted to leave comments on each look to thank you for the level of detail and your suggestions. Just wonderful. This is truly a game changer, and the fact that you stated your logic so clearly and I could learn from you was really incredible and useful. Thank you, for all of this. Let’s start out by stating the obvious; Nicola a a sorceress. When I looked at my closet, all I saw were dull basics peppered through with more exuberent pieces intended to celebrate my changing body. It felt disjointed, self indulgent, and inappropriate for the town I recently moved to. After a couple of big changes, I was having a hard time knowing who I was, much less expressing it through how I dressed. Nicola went above and beyond for my Lookbook - she was sensitive to my situation and applied her creative, thoughtful, and very intelligent eye to my closet and made magic. Who knew there were 10 plus outfits hiding in there that exactly expressed my style words and made me feel like myself? Not me! Equal to the outfits is the summary/commentary Nic included, giving me a ton of tools to create further on my own. Every outfit is a win! I had so much fun trying everything on and feeling both fresh and like myself again. Thanks so much Nic, I can’t wait to work with you again!

Wow. I am so impressed with my spring/summer Lookbook! It felt like Xmas morning. The summary Nicola wrote alone is SO valuable. Her take on my wardrobe, style persona, and why (a few) certain additions would unlock more ways to wear what's already in my closet. Just so useful. And each outfit! Most had multiple options, so well over 10+ combos. The notes for each one, you guessed it, super helpful. I can't wait to play dress up in my closet and try out all of them! Also considering booking the Feed now for more Xmas morning doses. For now, I'll keep hanging on every IG post and story.

I’ve been a daily Indyx user for 6 months and created 400+ outfits on my own… so Nic had her work cut out! Even so, she was able to suggest a new way to style a lesser-worn blouse, some transitional spring outfits, ideas for an upcoming family photoshoot and the MOST delightful nostalgic ‘Item Discovery’ week. I had a great time exploring her ideas and discovering a new-to-me sustainable Canadian brand. I have renewed energy and creativity flowing, toward my wardrobe. Thanks Nic!

I am absolutely loving my style feed with Nicola. I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas morning each Friday - it is such a treat to have new recommendations from her weekly. I really appreciate having a fresh set of eyes on my closet and creative ways to use what I already have.
